Why Aren't We Outraged? Sleeper, Awake!

Excuse me, but are you awake – fully awake – to things that are demanding our attention?

One thing that you –yes everyone reading me this minute, and lots more who aren’t – should pay BIG attention to is the newly-published book by Pamela Geller, entitled Fatwa: Hunted in America. The second thing is the newly-released movie by Kevin and Sam Sorbo (yes – he of “Hercules” fame) entitled Let There Be Light.

The contents of the book will come as no surprise to those who are even minimally informed about the danger all thinking Americans face from Muslim jihadists. Pamela Geller, as insistent as that loud, annoying alarm that wakes you in the morning, has been the American Cassandra to a very sleepy, very indolent population who repeatedly asks “Why did he do this? What reason has he to harm us?” every time a Muslim shouts “Allahu Akbar!” and starts killing innocent Americans.

She didn’t start out as a shrill. She started out as a woman in the fashion business. However, she witnessed the terrorist 9/11 declaration of war against our country, and began to ask questions – uncomfortable questions:

·        1.  Why are we as a country so fawning to a religion that not only killed almost 3,000 people who never so much as batted an eyelash at them, but who wanted to erect a “we triumphed over you” mosque over the scattered remains of the people they killed? Why aren’t we outraged?

·       2.   Why were the people in media idolizing the very “immigrants” who end up murdering children and maiming men and women watching a harmless marathon? Why aren’t we outraged?

·         3. Why are people like Pamela Geller repeatedly told to “shut up” by “concerned” politicians? Why aren’t we outraged, especially when THEY know she is RIGHT?

Yes, it’s Christmas time. Yes, it’s the Season of Goodwill. But it’s also a very, very dark time for our country. How many more peaceful Christmases are we assured? None. Read Revelation Chapter 6; are we witnessing the opening of the Seals of God’s Wrath? I fear we are.

As a perfect counterbalance, Kevin and Sam Sorbo have given each Christian believer the Gift of Encouragement – a special Christmas present for 2017. Go and see their movie if you possibly can – it is magnificent! It will take you by surprise, as it did Allen and me. Bring the hankies, too.

Arise, oh sleepers! Sleepers, awake! Whether you want to quote Isaiah 60:1 or Bach’s great Cantata 140, it’s time to take spiritual action!
